When our client, a retired Major League Baseball player, purchased this Ahwatukee home, it wasn’t simply another investment. Decades earlier, after signing his first professional contract and moving to Arizona from South America, this was the home of the family who welcomed and supported him as he began his baseball career in the United States. Years later, he had the opportunity to purchase the very same home, a meaningful full-circle moment that allowed him to honor an important chapter of his life.
Crafted Quarters partnered with our client to completely reimagine the three-story residence, transforming it into a beautifully updated home while preserving the significance it held for him. The extensive renovation included a new kitchen, custom bar, living room, dining room, three bathrooms, powder room, laundry room, lower-level kitchenette, and a dedicated home theater.
Thoughtfully designed for modern living and effortless entertaining, every space was elevated with timeless materials, functional layouts, and carefully curated details. While the home was ultimately renovated for resale, the project was about much more than creating a beautiful property; it was an opportunity to celebrate the home’s history, maximize its value, and prepare it for its next chapter.
